Hazardous Minimum Increase & Li-ion Batteries

CaroTrans will increase its hazardous minimum by $100 to all dDSC08761-4-1.jpgestinations except those in the Middle East. In addition to this increase, the current hazardous charges in place will now apply to lithium-ion batteries being exported as non-hazardous under Special Provision 188. Both of these changes will take effect March 25, 2023. Complete documentation including the IMO, SDS and Battery Test Report (where applicable) are required at the time of booking.
