CaroTrans has implemented the following Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) regulations effective immediately


 

CaroTrans has implemented the following Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) regulations effective for cargo sailing on, or after, September 1st, 2025. 

The previously announced Maritime Pre-Load Cargo Information (MPCI) Filing Fee has been adjusted. Click here for more details.

Citing underlying carrier increases, CaroTrans will implement a GRI from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to the USA effective September 1st, 2025. Find out more here. 

For import/export shipments to/from Canada and the United States where a change to the bill of lading is requested, CaroTrans will implement a Correction Fee surcharge effective July 23rd, 2025. Click here for more details. 

PSS will be cancelled effective 06.15.25 and the GRI has been mitigated to $15W/M. Full details outlined here.

Due to the recent increases put forth by the underlying carriers, CaroTrans will be passing through adjustments on Trans-Pacific Eastbound (TPEB) cargo, find out more information here.

As part of the forthcoming enforcement of the European Union’s Import Control System 2 (ICS2), CaroTrans is committed to ensuring full compliance for all shipments entering the EU’s customs territory.

Effective immediately, CaroTrans requires new information for all LCL shipments to Italy to be included on the shipping instructions. For more information click here.
