Submitting Bill of Lading Instructions
CaroTrans will require HS Codes to appear on Bill of Lading Instructions sent to our team members in order to properly submit our instructions to the underlying carrier(s). This change comes as passthrough from our vendor network and is being enforced with greater regularity. Bookings without HS Codes will be subject to roll and/or storage fees where applicable.

LCL Import Customer Advisory 26-005
Citing underlying carrier increases, CaroTrans will implement a GRI from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to the USA effective March 1st, 2026. Click below for more detials:
LCL Export Customer Advisory 26-002 Technology Infrastructure Fee
CaroTrans will implement a Technology Infrastructure Fee applicable on all LCL export and import shipments. This surcharge replaces the previously announced Wage Adjustment Fee that took effect on April 1st, 2025.
